philippinesball 8 years ago Yes, they do come from India but Romania in the Countryball world has the stereotype of being mistaken as a Gypsy because of its high number of Gypsy population and also often mistaken: Romani = Romanian.

As for Lapu Lapu possibly having gypsy heritage it's still unknown but in my assumption is that Lapu Lapu is purely Austronesian with Islam heritage or traditions (not quiet sure if he's a gypsy, because a lot of traders not only Indians had been in the Philippines first as traders than the Europeans) and as for the Filipinos, well I can say that some of us can have gypsy heritage, or maybe even mixtures of many since the Philippines is a melting pot of races (Indians, Chinese, Spanish, etc.) even before18 likes Reply

I've been in Polandball for a long time now so I know how these comics work. If so you're offended, maybe Polandball isn't made for you since Polandball/Countryballs pokes at national stereotypes and not only Romania's and it's kinda like tradition now especially on reddit where majority of these comics came from. Do you know that USA is a fat and geographically-challenged-anti-commie-freedom-giving character? I don't see anyone complaining about that in polandball reddit 'cos they know its just a stereotype and stereotypes are just a thing to be laughed at and not taken seriously especially since not all stereotypes are true.

Flipball or Indioball? Don't compare it to USA being depicted as fat and
geographically challenged, a similar "joke" would be calling USA
"Niggerball". Gypsies were slaves in Romania as black people were in
the US, so that would be similar. This is not a national stereotype, a
national stereotype is Romanians being vampires, picking fruit in the
West or eating mamaliga. Calling Romanian gypsies is fucking offensive.

Anyways, this is how this site works. You'll never know who owns who unless they say so or you look up in reddit. Me, I just feel like sharing anything that comes from the subreddit of polandball especially things that many users can easily understand. It's okay, I thought you were attacking me because I thought you were identifying me as a racist and hypocrite at the same time when I just shared an image out of nowhere but meh people make mistakes and it's okay but I really don't mix the two up unlike other ignorant people?? ??
